Advanced Placement Program

High school students have a unique opportunity to challenge themselves by enrolling in Adavnced Placment (AP) courses as part of their high school program. Students taking AP courses earn college credit while in high school and stand out in the college admission process, giving them an advantage in recieving an acceptance from their preferred college choice. These rigorous courses also show college admissions officers that your child is mature and intellectually ready for college.

AP courses are recognized at over 3,600 colleges and universities in the US and abroad; in fact, over 90% of 4-year colleges in the U.S. provide credit and/or advanced placement for qualifying scores, giving your child the opportunity to move into upper-level courses as a college freshman.

At ACS, we offer 15 different AP courses, giving students the chance to conquer more difficult material in their subjects of interest.

AP International University Recognition

Over 60 countries around the world recognize AP scores when considering students for admission and count AP credits earned for enrollment.

AP International Diploma

The Advanced Placement International Diploma (APID) is a certificate that is recognized globally for university admissions.
